Welcome to the Blogging for Profits 10-day Mini Course. This course is designed to familiarize you with some important blogging concepts, and if you don’t already have a blog, to help you create one.
Here’s what we’ll cover in the course:
1. Setting Up Your Blog
2. Blog Writing Style
3. Brainstorming
4. Onpage SEO
5. Offpage SEO I
6. Offpage SEO II
7. More Traffic
8. Monetizing Your Blog
9. More Monetizing Options
10. Interactions Between Blogs
We may even give you a homework assignment or two! As you go through each lesson, be sure to take the actions suggested. Don’t get bogged down in theory at the expense of action. Building your blog isn’t going to happen all at once, but rather step by step. So let’s make this as action-oriented as possible. Feel free to post your questions and comments in the ‘Comments’ section.
Before you begin the course, you should have some idea about what the focus of your blog will be. Our goal is to help you build a profitable blog, one that will bring you some income. So you need to determine what your ‘niche’ is - Health and fitness? Weight loss? Cat care? PC maintenance tips? iPhones and accessories? Whatever your niche, select something that you feel passionate about. Ideally, it helps to have some experience or expertise in the area, but if you feel excited enough about the topic, you can become the expert through your own learning process.
So give this some thought before you start the course. You don’t have to figure out all the details, just enough so that when you select the name for your blog, it will fit in with your chosen niche.
When you’re ready, continue on to Day 1 of the course:
